Training

We normally encourage maintenance personnel to assist in the commissioning of new plant and machinery. This helps familiarisation and creates a degree of ownership. Also training can be carried out on the operators interfaces HMI/SCADA systems before site installation.

Training can be summarised as follows:-

	Network mapping and configuration
	Electrical drawings and identification of circuit breakers, motor starters, overloads and field I/O.
	PLC program and spreadsheet understanding.
	Operator interface navigation and identification.

Some of the above can be performed in classroom and/or plant floor.
